For people needing ongoing assistance, Home Care Packages provide individuals with a monthly allocation of funding to use to purchase the services or equipment they require.
Our Care Facilitators work with each individual to put together a unique set of services and supports to meet their personal needs. BaptistCare at home operates with a focus on helping people to live their best possible lives, so Home Care Packages allows for services such as physiotherapy, accompanied outings, exercise groups and learning to use a tablet computer, in addition to the essentials such as garden maintenance, assistance with showering and personal care, or help with preparing meals.
Home Care Packages provide enormous flexibility to deliver the services people need in order to live their best possible lives. BaptistCare’s considerable experience and broad resources enable clients to maximise the value of their package funds by providing far more than just the basics offered by some providers.
To apply for a Home Care Package you need to contact the Government’s My Aged Care service on 1800 200 422 for assessment by the Regional Assessment Service or ACAT. If approved you will then join a waiting list for your Package to be assigned to you. As soon as this happens BaptistCare can immediately commence the delivery of the services and supports you choose.
