Bridging the Gap is proud to now be part of BaptistCare. Our commitment to the Western Sydney community remains as strong as ever, with the same local teams continuing to provide trusted support and a safe environment for individuals and families to learn, grow and rebuild.  

How we help

Counselling

Counselling can help you find the tools, confidence and support to navigate complicated life circumstances. It can often be the first step in coping better, thinking more clearly, and feeling supported. At BaptistCare Bridging the Gap, we offer trauma-informed, person-centred counselling services for children, young people and families, both virtually and face to face.

Art Therapy

Art therapy provides a safe and creative way for children and young people to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences. Guided by a qualified art therapist, creative expression is used alongside therapeutic support to strengthen emotional wellbeing, build resilience and support healing and positive change.

School Programs

We partner with local primary and high schools to support the wellbeing, resilience and development of children and young people. Our experienced team delivers tailored, evidence-informed programs that support and respond to the needs of students and school communities.

Student wellbeing support

BaptistCare Bridging the Gap is an approved provider of the Department of Education’s National Student Wellbeing Program (NSWP), which supports the wellbeing of students and schools through student wellbeing support officers. Working as part of the school community, our officers provide ongoing, on-site wellbeing support that helps students build resilience, strengthen connections and stay engaged with their education.

No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS)

If you’re part of a low-income household, BaptistCare Bridging the Gap can support you with interest-free loans for essential items and services. Borrow up to $2,000 with no fees or interest, with affordable repayments that suit your budget.
