Living With Dementia

Welcome to our resources to guide you in how the environment, technology and you can help maximise independence, safety, security and leisure for people living with dementia at home!

In the same way that a ramp and a wheelchair may assist the independence and safety of a person with mobility needs, modifying the environment and using assistive technology may support the cognitive and practical needs of a person living with dementia.

Here you will find information transferred from the previous site www.dementiatechnology.org.au – a training resources project that the Australian Government funded BaptistCare to deliver in 2009. The material is currently under review, but still contains many useful suggestions.
