Speak up

BaptistCare is committed to fostering a culture of transparency and accountability across all parts of our organisation. 

Misconduct or improper conduct is damaging and can have far reaching implications to our people, business operations and reputation. 

BaptistCare encourages the reporting of Disclosable Matters, examples of which may include:

• Corrupt conduct
• Theft, fraud or misuse of money or assets
• Significant mismanagement or waste of BaptistCare resources
• Abuse of authority
• Actions causing serious harm to clients, staff or public safety
• Serious breaches of law or regulations
• Actions that damage BaptistCare's interests or reputation
• Harmful conduct against a person for raising a report
• Deliberate covering up of any of the above 

If you know or suspect any of these behaviours have occurred, please do the right thing and speak up.

How to speak up

You can make a report with the BaptistCare Whistleblower Protection Officer (being BaptistCare’s General Counsel) by contacting WBO@baptistcare.com.au 

You can also contact the Whistleblower Hotline (1300 30 45 50): a free independent hotline run by Stopline Pty Ltd which allows the confidential reporting of Disclosable Matters at any time. 

There may be other reporting channels available to you under relevant laws, as set out in our Whistleblower Reporting Policy. 

Various protections may be available to eligible whistleblowers under our Whistleblower Reporting Policy and relevant laws for Speaking Up, including protections in relation to identification and victimisation.
