Living Beyond Abuse

Living Beyond Abuse is a 9 week support group for women who have experienced domestic and family violence.

The Living Beyond Abuse program empowers women to:

  • Meet others in similar situations and gain support
  • Understand the cycle of violence
  • Explore the different types of abuse
  • Understand the impact abuse has on themselves and their children
  • Rebuild their future and work towards positive relationship choices
  • Increase self-esteem and reduce self-blame

There are many different types of violence:

Physical abuse
Verbal abuse
Sexual abuse
Emotional abuse
Financial abuse
Spiritual abuse
Social abuse, harassment and stalking

HopeStreet Referral

Service providers can refer a community member by accessing and completing the HopeStreet CSH referral form and forwarding it to HopeStreet-Referral@baptistcare.org.au. 

Referrals will be assessed to ensure there is no immediate safety concerns and incoming referrals will be contacted within two working days.
