- Care Worker- provides support and assistance to residents with all activities of daily living, including personal care.
- Lifestyle Coordinators- Coordinates and oversees all lifestyle activities in the home as well as personalising a lifestyle care plan for each resident according to their interests.
- Care Supervisors- administers medication to residents and leads the care team in providing assistance with activities of daily living.
- Recreational Activities Officers- runs activities & outings in line with the activities calendar and according to resident preferences.
- Chaplain- travels between aged care homes to provide emotional, spiritual, and pastoral care to residents, their families, staff, and volunteers.
- Registered Nurses- plans, organises, and implements individualised care in line with residents’ needs and wants. Liaises with allied health teams and provides guidance to care staff.
- Endorsed Enrolled Nurses- organises and implements individualised care in line with residents’ needs and wants. Liaises with allied health teams and provides guidance to care staff.
- Education & Quality Supervisor- Provides training and education to all residential care home staff. Oversees training calendar and traineeship/work placement programs.
- Education & Quality Coordinator- Provides training and education to care & non-clinical staff. Assists with orientation of new staff.
- Residential Manager- Oversees all day-to-day operations within the care home. Leads staff to provide the highest quality care in line with BaptistCare values and aged care accreditation standards.
- Care Team Manager- Oversees residents’ clinical care needs by leading Registered Nurses (RNs) & care staff in providing high quality care that is aligned with residents’ preferences.
- Chef Manager- Oversees and manages all kitchen operations, including menu planning and cooking fresh and nutritious meals for residents.
- Services Manager (selected homes)- Oversees and manages kitchen, laundry, and cleaning services within the care home.
- Roster Clerk- Manages the roster and leave cover for all staff within the care home. At BaptistCare, this is done in line with the MyTeams roster model, ensuring continuity of care for residents.
- Client Liaison Administrator- Facilitates the tour and admissions process with prospective residents and their families.
- Receptionist- As the first point of contact within the care home, this role manages and directs all enquiries, as well as supporting with administration.
- Catering Assistant/Kitchen Hand- Provides meal services to the residents and assists the Chef and Cook with basic food preparation.
- Cook- Cooks high-quality, nutritious meals and desserts for residents according to a seasonal menu.
- Laundry assistant- Provides commercial quantity laundry services for residents’ personal items and housekeeping linen.
- Cleaner- Provides cleaning services to residents’ rooms and shared areas of the home.
- Maintenance Officer/Supervisor- Provides ‘handyman’ services as well as preventative and reactive maintenance tasks in the home.
- Gardener- Maintains the gardens and landscapes around the care
Care homes also employ allied health professionals, such as Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, who visit the care home regularly. These roles are often employed by the care provider on a contractual basis.
