It was a happy day for all involved when a farm on wheels came to visit Baptistcare Gracewood Residential Care in Salter Point.

Residents and their family members loved being able to interact with all kinds of animals including rabbits, goats, pigs, lambs, chicks and even a miniature horse named Humphrey!

Baptistcare Gracewood’s Lifestyle Coordinator, Claudia Beccerra says the experience was a memorable one for residents.

“Their faces lit up when they interacted with the animals,” she said.

“It was wonderful to hear and see so much laughter and excitement from our residents.”
