About Our Community
Located opposite the beautiful Brisbane Waters in Point Clare, the Orana Centre has comfortable living at its heart. It’s dotted with private sitting rooms, barbeque areas, landscaped gardens and numerous courtyards for residents and their families and friends to enjoy. Point Clare’s amenities are always close at hand to our 169 residents, who come to us for a range of care services including dementia care and respite care services. Locally loved, we have been committed to serving the Central Coast community since 1973.
At Orana, your home is yours to enjoy, which means your friends and family are always welcome. Whether you entertain in your private room, the shared gardens, or in our vibrant coffee shop, you’ll be supported by a caring community that puts your wellbeing first.

Financials Explained
All non-supported residents who have assets above the current partially supported cut off level will be required to pay either a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) or a lump sum Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) or combination of lump sum refundable accommodation deposit (RAD) and the balance of the RAD as an equivalent Daily Payment (DAP). The pricing listed below is the maximum pricing for the category of the room and may vary depending on your individual circumstances.
To calculate the equivalent daily payment, the refundable accommodation deposit is multiplied by the current maximum permissible interest rate (MPIR) and divided by 365 days.
For example, a refundable deposit of $550,000 would have an equivalent daily payment of:
i.e. ($550,000 x 5.96%) / 365 = $89.80 per day
