Designed with a people-first approach, Mirrambeena Residential Care is in walking distance of the town centre and local cafes, and a short drive to beaches, wineries, and other local attractions.
Mirrambeena means ‘welcome’ in Aboriginal culture, which is the perfect name for our facility known for its friendly and homely atmosphere.
As a small country centre, we pride ourselves on providing personal, family-oriented care. Our team at Mirrambeena understand the value of compassion and holistic care. We encourage families to help residents transition to residential care and provide ongoing support.
Central country kitchens are surrounded by light and roomy communal areas that overlook decorative gardens. A barbeque area is available for family and friends to use, and is an ideal setting for social gatherings.
Featuring 32 Individual Rooms and 7 Double Rooms
All rooms come partially furnished with an adjustable bed, built-in robes, drawers, chair and desk. You are welcome to bring some smaller furniture items from home as well as other decorations to transform the space and make it your own. The majority of rooms overlook courtyards or garden spaces and have curtains for privacy.
Specialised dementia support
Mirrambeena provides a dementia enrichment living secured unit with 24 hour care by professional nurses and trained staff. Here you’ll find a calming, decorative, homely area that promotes continued quality of life for residents. Comfortable lounges and quiet rooms are also available.
Residents can also enjoy a garden area designed to stimulate and encourage residents to spend some time outdoors enjoying the fresh air.
